What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain And Bleeding When Standing?

Age 25, black female - Lower abdominal pain and bleeding when standing. When sitting, the pain goes away. I recently have been working out my abs aggressively, and I have also been sexually active. I am between periods but notice some light spotting when I urinated this morning.

Hello,
In the current scenario, you should see a specialist for a complete evaluation. The pain could be related to the workouts you have been doing currently. It is the bleeding that needs to be attended to. Local causes like polyps, erosions etc. should be excluded as are the ovarian and uterine causes through a trans-vaginal sonogram. Infections can be excluded through urinalysis, vaginal swab and a cervical smear. Try to avoid severe exercise until the cause of the bleeding and the pain is identified and treated. Wish you good health. Take care.
