What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain Along With Constipation And Diarrhea?

My daughter has lower abdominal pain in pelvic area and thigh pain. She also suffers with constipation and diahorea a weel of constipation and then very loose. She also has a problem with urinary tract infections since feb this year and has a constant ache around her navel on the right side. Can you help please as no one here seems to know ehat the problem is. She has had xrays on her pelvis and bladder area. A barium follow through and a colonoscopy last year in march. Nothing has shown up but it is very worrying. She also suffers from frequent headaches on the top of her head and a little nausea. Thank you so much I hope to hear from you soon. Charlotte.

well alternating habit of diahrea and constipation with abd pain and history of headache sugests irritable bowel syndrome. u must avoid stress . u may b sugested ispaghol containting GIT smooth muscle relaxant like mebeverine combination medicines.Avoid chocolate, alcohol, caffeine, carbonated drinks, the artificial sweetener sorbitol (found in sugarless gum and mints), and fructose (the simple sugar found in honey and many fruits). These can worsen diarrhea symptoms. Your eating history can help you determine if any of these are triggers for your symptoms. Ur Doctors may prescribe antidepressants for the abdominal pain associated with IBS. This does not necessarily mean that you are depressed. Low doses of antidepressants are known to block signals of pain to the brain.hope u got my answer
