What Causes Low Libido During Menopause?

I m 49yrs old and started menopause last year. My biggest problem is the sex drive or lack of. It s becoming a problem with my husband ,the bickering and finger pointing is over whelming. I can t afford medical and he s on disability. I was looking for something to help with this issue that doesn t call for medical att or prescription. Any suggestions?

You can consider trying natural products such as St John's wort or evening primose to see if either of these is helpful with the hormonal issues.

Other possible solutions include --(1)regular aerobic exercise has been found to be helpful in this area

(2)spending time with your husband. For women there is a lot of emotional issues attached to intimacy. Spending quality time with your partner can help with this and therefore help with libido

(3)decreased stress if possible

(4)Foods contained magnesium, protein and soy have been said to sometimes help with libido
