What Causes Low Grade Fever, Headache After Injury?
I am a professional competing equestrian. One of my horses reared and flipped over on top of me
Today. I am sore and ache but no sharp pains. My head hurts but I'm not dizzy or nauseous. (was wearing a helmet) I now after several hours post injury have started running low grade fever, even after ibuprofen, should I be concerned?

I can understand your concern. It seems that the fever is not related with the injury and it might be viral infection.
As you were wearing helmet and not in much discomfort due to injury, you do not require treatment for the injury. The minor injuries will heal themselves in a week to 10 days.
For the fever, as it seems that it is due to viral infection, no treatment is required for that too. You will be fine in 7-10 days as the body's immunity will take over. You can continue with Ibuprofen or Acetaminophen for symptomatic relief.
However, if you do not feel fine in a week or if your health condition worsens, you should see a physician for physical examination and treatment.
