I am pregnant for 15 weeks. I am having a low grade fever (below 100F) for more than 1 1/2 months. WBC count has rised up to 17000. Blood culture normal. ASOT negative. Typhi O 1:80. Having a headache all the time. liver profile and kidney profile ok. what can this be. Pls advise
pregnancy undergoes too many hormonal and metabolic changes in your body. just imagine a 3 kg baby is formed just from a microscopic union of sperm and ovum. the body undergoes tremendous changes to care for you and your baby. you will feel low grade fever. wbc count is always high in pregnancy. do not worry about the fever if it is less than 100 deg F.
