Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am not any medication - other than thyroid - daily - and am in good health - 76 years old but my diastolic pressure is always a little low - today before walking - I checked - I was 118 over 39!!! That is the lowest I have seen it - it is mostly high 40's and 50's ????
Have you gone through tests for this ,if not see a doctor & get your cardiac profile and Renal function checked. What are your complains??Drink lots of oral fluids always add little salt to it if not otherwise restricted. Get your thyroid function test also done after taking drug prescribed to you so that you can know if the dose is correct.Pulse rate also plays an important role in going far in diagnosis.
