Thanks for contacting HCM

I am sorry to hear about your father in law and his recent change in blood pressures. His first blood pressure of 130/60 is within normal limits and today's blood pressure is also within normal limits. Normal blood pressure ranges from 90-140 on the top number and 50-90 on the lower number. From your description on his blood pressure I would not change his blood pressure medications. As you experienced doubling his medication cause a dangerously low pressure. I would recommend holding his medication until he sees his doctor. Through out the day I would take additional blood pressure readings record them and present them to his doctor.

Hope this answers your question. If you have any further issues please feel free to contact us
