General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi.

I am glad we connected.

Blood pressure medication may cause dilation of blood vessels which can cause dizziness. This along with the dehydration, weakness, low glucose levels, and excessive exercise can cause dehydration.

Taking a balanced diet, drinking more than 2 to 3 litres of water, and checking the blood pressure would be a good idea.

Checking the blood pressure correctly in the sitting, standing, and lying down position can be useful as well. This would help one to get the right blood pressure reading.

The cardiologist would then be able to decide the right dosage of medication for this.

I hope this helps. All the best.
