What Causes Low BP After A Poison Oak Attack?

My husband has a severe case of Poison Oak; which is covering almost his entire body. He is quite dizzy and feels nauseated when he goes to stand up. On a home blood pressure device, his B.P,. is 99/60. Two weeks ago he went to his Dr. for unrelated reasons and it was 134/76. He has had no sleep at all for the past two nights because he is covered in these large blisters, He has a prescribed lotion that he is using. My question is Should we be concerned about the lower blood pressure. Would this be the reason for his dizziness & nausea? Thank you for your help. Darlene

hi,
i suppose he had a contact to poison oak..for the treatment doctors advise antihistamines..which are known to produce side effects like dizziness or sleepiness in excess..
if you can mention what drugs he is taking now i can tell you precisely..
bp of 99/60 is not a low bp..it is low normal..nothing to worry..
134/76 if checked after complete calm down of patient is considered high but i think he was tensed and there was a rise of bp..
dont worry about bp..it is almost normal..
if he has any syncope like attacks approach doctor

hope my answer helps you
if you have any more queries i would be happy to answer..
