What Causes Loud Pounding Of Heart And Shortness Of Breath?
9 year old daughter has been getting shortness of breath and heart beats so rapidly and hard I can feel it practically beating into my hand. This happens after she has been playing hard, running, climbing and also it happens when she walks up our stairs. It doesn't happen every single time she exerts herself, but it is happening fairly often and started in July.

I suggest u consult a paediatrician or cardiologist n he will conduct few tests like ECG n echo cardiography based on her symptoms. if there is any thing abnormal thay shall consider further intervention... however no need to worry. but it is always safe to consult a specialist
