What Causes Loose Stools With Vomiting?

Hi Doctor My son is 31 months old and he has got loose stools(watery)from morning(7to 8) times.Have started the medication with the advise of doctor .Enterogermina - once a day-5ml and OFM thrice a day - 5ml.I have given one dosage of each.Now(evening) is that he started vomitting also.He just had a very little of rice food in the afternoon and slept and had just a 5ml of Pomograntte juice.He is asking for water every 5 minutes.Is it ok to have so?Also what can i give him for strength?Pls advice

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern about your son.

As per your history he is either having gastritis or food poisoning. Diarrhea and vomiting are the main cause of water loss and because of that he is feeling too much lethargic.

You need to feed him well and also give him plenty of fluids with ORS that will maintain his electrolyte balance.

Give the medication as per prescription.
