What Causes Loose Stools During 20 Weeks Of Pregnancy?
I am 20 weeks pregnant and had a loose stool this morning (had a big salad last night) but throughout the day I have had gurgling in the belly, still hungry tho, and 3 episodes of the runs feeling and uncontrollability but only a large amount of clear mucous that comes out like the feeling of having diarrhea...what causes this and could it affect my baby?

Large amount of clear mucus in loose stool indicates you have infection in intestine, may be in salad or whatever you eaten.If i have to treat sjch a patient i will advice tab Furoxone 100mg three times a day, tab metronidaxole 400mg three times a day , sporolac sachets three times a day, ORS with plenty of fluids. Afew stools are going to harm the baby.
