What Causes Loose Stools And Stomach Problem In Child?

My Son who is 4 years old now keeps getting loose stool and stomach problems. I have noticed that every time he eats greesy or spicy food he has this issue where he complains of stomach ache and than loose stools. When he was 1 year old he had severe diarreha and since than this has continued. I am trying to find out what could be wrong and how to get this diagnosed? Can stomach acidity cause these issues?

Hi

Stomach acidity is unlikely to cause such issues.
Recurrent diarrhoea possibility of malabsorption syndrome is to be considered, especially in absence of features suggestive of infection.
Stool examination including for reducing substance may throw light on the issue.

Take Care
