What Causes Loose Stool And Bloated Stomach?

Very bloated for the last month. I ve been going to the bathroom roughly every 3 days, and the stool is a little loose (yellow/dark yellow colour). I always feel better after going to the bathroom but prior to I ve been getting a lot of cramping. What could it be?

Hi, thank you for posting.

I have gone through your query and I understand your concerns.

Based on what you refer I can say that you suffer from colonopathy.
In these cases it is recommended to avoid spicy foods, acidic foods, carbonated drinks, coffee and milk.
You should also take proton pump inhibitor medications such as Nexium.

To confirm the diagnosis you need an abdominal ultrasound, liver function test, complete blood count and an urine test.

Consult your gastroenterologist.

All the best.
Dr. Behar.
