Pediatrician 's  Response
Hello,

Teething can be a cause of loose stools in the child at this age. You should start vitamin D drops for three months, so that loose stool doesn't occur due to teething. Give ORS solution to prevent dehydration. Give prebiotic like enterogermina ampule should be given.

If loose stools persist vomiting occurs, then antibiotic needs to be started. An examination by a doctor should be done to rule out dehydration. Start vitamin D drops after the child is well.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
