What Causes Long Episodes Of Hiccups After Taking Synvisc Shot?

I received a synvisc shot in the knee yesterday for the first time.This morning 18-20 hours later, i started having long episodes of hiccups that I can only stop temporarily stop with a teaspoon of sugar. It is more than 30hrs later and I am experiencing strong episodes of hiccups. This has also been accompanied by a all day headache. Is this a normal side effect and how can I stop it? Thank you.

I really appreciate your concern, such symptoms of hiccup may not be due to the shot taken for knee problem but this is happening due to hyperacidity and this can be well controlled with some antacid having local analgesic effect along with this "Tab Omeprazole 40 mg Domperidone" once in day, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
