What Causes Lip Swelling And Tingling/swollen Eyes With Blisters In Mouth?

2 months ago, I had a bump on my left cheek that spread and swelled including blisters inside my mouth. My MD diagnosed it as cellulitis and gave me antibiotic that helped it clear up but the red area remains and comes back bright red at times. I also now have swollen eyes every morning with lots of puffiness under the eye. My dermatologist diagonosed this a rosachea (sp) and gave me a low dose tetracycline. Nothing has helped and I am at the end of my wits! My lip swells and tingles, my eyes water also, it s like I m allergic but the red that moves around on my face says otherwise. Any ideas or suggestions? Thank you in advance. Kathryn

Hello

Thank you for trusting HCM

Dear there is possibility of allergy like to drugs, pea nuts, prawns, shell fish, bring all.. Etc.

There is possibility of angioneuritic edema, Persons with it are born lacking an inhibitor protein (called C1 esterase inhibitor) that normally prevents activation of a cascade of proteins leading to the swelling of angioedema. Patients can develop recurrent attacks of swollen tissues, pain in the abdomen, and swelling of the voice box (larynx) which can compromise breathing. The diagnosis is suspected with a history of recurrent Angio edema.

Any tooth infection and cellulitis may cause this problem, conjunctivitis and pharyngitis etc... May cause same presentation. Difficult to advise treatment with out examination and investigation so please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
