What Causes Limps On Artery On The Head Above Eyes?

asking i have been with an alcoholic for a year he is nasty moody and does not remember very much he has red rings around his eyes his face is red and his nose is beginning to be boleros.He now has 2 limps on an artery on his head above his eye what do you think this is He drinks about 5 bottles of wine a day he takes pills for a bad ankle and then has to take one for his stomach as the other pill causes upset in his stomach is he a disaster waiting to die?

You describe:
alcohol affecting mentation and sleep. These conditions might not be reversible. Ever.
Lumps on vessels might be just from bruises. If someone has very severe liver disease from alcohol, the ability to clot is messed up. This might be reversible with quitting, or it could continue to get worse. If the liver is quite bad, it's inability to clear toxins produces impairment in thinking. This might correct with quitting but it might not.
Interaction between sedatives (alcohol, sleeping medication, narcotics) can be fatal.
