What Causes Lightheadedness And Sickness When Diagnosed With Phlebitis?

My 75 year old mom has phlebitis and today she was light headed, seeing spots and got sick. Not sure if it is the heat getting to her, or because she has started excercising. She doesn t want to go to the doctor she is laying down and said she feels better after being sick. When should I become concerned or should i be concerned?

You should be concerned now as lightheadedness and sickness with phlebitis is not good and this could lead toward progression of stroke and CVA. Therefore, you must seek immediate physician attention to rule out some serious underlying causes as we have to be on safe side and take precautions.
