What Causes Light Spotting After Taking Morning After Pill?
Hi! I took the morning after pill 12 hours after having unprotected sex. I was also on my period when I had sex. Now, 5 days after taking the pill I have some light spotting. Other doctors have said that this is normal after taking the morning after pill, and even means that it is working properly. Is that true? Thanks!

it is actually not needed to take your morning pill if u had intercorse while having your periods.
1. sperms die in presence of blood
2.endometrium is shed off during periods so one cannot concieve
now, that you have taken immidiately after or during period this kinda spotting can happen.it is called as progesterone withdrawal
