i am having a very light period with no cramps and extreme back pain, i have had extreme breast pain and nipple tenderness for almost 2 weeks. I took a pregnancy test at home it was negative, i did have sex around ovulation, i eat full meals and feel sick afterwards
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Unprotected intercourse can lead to pregnancy, especially when around ovulation. Moreover, delayed periods and breast engorgement can be present in early pregnancy. Sometimes, the periods are delayed and hence the conception is delayed, hence the urine pregnancy test comes positive a bit late. I would suggest you to get a repeat urine pregnancy test after one week, if negative, then you should get yourself investigated for hormonal disturbances like hypothyroidism, hyperprolactemia and polycystic ovarian disease, which are the causes of delayed periods.
