What Causes Light Headedness, Nausea And Fast Heart Beat?

31, female, 5'7, 115pounds. Started 8 days ago thought it was a flu...light headed, nausous, felt i would pass out. since then i am having racing heart (or so t feels) upper stomach pain and throbbing and indigestion. i can't stand the throbbing! had blood tests for heart and thyroid, 2 ekgs, chest xray...all was fine.

You are suffering from gastroenteritis also known as stomach flu.It is an intestinal infection marked by diarrhoea, cramps, nausea, vomiting and fever.However all symptoms are not present in every patient.Bacterial and viral infection causes inflammation in your stomach and intestines causing symptoms like vomiting, severe abdominal cramps, and diarrhea.
Treatment
Headache is because of loss of electroplyte once level of electrolytesare repleted headache will settle down
However you can take tyelnol for pain as and when required.
Take imodium(Loperamide) 2mg one tablet stat.
Start taking a probiotic twice daily,Probiotics contains lactobacillus. These bacteria's help in proper digestion of food and will help to revive your depleted gastric flora.
Drink plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration–You need to drink more than usual to replace the fluids lost from diarrhoea.
Take orange juice it contains lots of potassium.
Proton pump inhibitor like Esomeprazole(Neksium 40mg) should be taken once daily,it will provide symptomatic relief in belching and gas problem.
A stool routine and microscopy test should be done to rule out bacterial infection.In case it's bacterial Cefixime and ofloxacin can be given for 3 days.
