What Causes Light Headedness And Dizzy Spells While Bending?

Experience lightheadedness , dizzy After bending down then up I feel dizzy Very odd I ve have normal ECG BP and jog 5 km 4 times a week My vision need reading glasses am 51 yo and moderately fit no drugs except ecasa 81mg preventatively , not dehydrated, started to notice an increase in it occurs at different time when bent over , or squatting or kneeling down when I rise I feeling lightheaded like I am going to pass out

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have lightheadedness and dizzy spells while bending. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like sinusitis , ear infection , condition like meniere's disease or Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) . In your the reason for the symptoms is BPPV . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order videonystagmography , MRI or examination of ear with otoscope . Doctor may prescribe antiemetic drug along with antibiotics like gentamycin , anti inflammatory and may recommend procedure like canalith repositioning procedure . For now do not bend forward and drink green tea thrice a day .
