What Causes Left Testicle To Rotate On Its Own

Yes, I'm 23 years old, and I was diagnosed with a vericocele when I was 17. I have had minor pain and discomfort for years but nothing serious. However, the last few months I have noticed that my left testical rotates on its own. Always 180 degrees never more, then it goes back to normal. Is this normal to happen? I've been freaking myself out on the internet reading about torsion of the testical, please help. There is no swealing or anything.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history...

Internet search without any actual knowledge will confuse you more and more.
I would advise you the following:
Get a consultation and examination done from an Urologist.
Color doppler and ultrasonography examination of the scrotum.

The cause of the rotation an going back to normal is due to the varicocele getting enlarged to allow the rotation.
Nothing serious about this unless you have symptoms.
But since the varicocele is so large I would advise you further to get operated for excision of the varicocele and orchidopexy so that the rotation and chance of torsion are not there
I find this answer helpful
