What Causes Left Sided Facial Numbness, Weakness In Arm And Dizziness?

My stubborn husband has severe weakness in his left arm, the left side of his face is numb, he is having trouble speaking, dizzyness and says he just doesn t feel good. He is diabetic and has cardiac myopathy. He says he felt better after a nights sleep. Should I force him to go to the emergency room or see his doctor tomorrow? This has gone on for the days.

It's a stroke. Blood vesssels either bleed inside the brain or get clotted, resulting in decreased blood supply to the brain tissue. Get a CT scan brain (plain) done and show to medical specialist. It is not something to be taken lightly & control ofdiabetes is must. Thankyou for contacting HCM.
