What Causes Leakage Of The Heart After A Bypass Surgery?
my father 65 yrs old father had by pass surgery before 10 yrs and now he had stunt again last 2 yrs, now he is suffering with initial cancer in back as ulcer and doctor says that he has valve leakage in heart also so could not be diagnosed for cancer , what to do ????? plz help
I am sorry for your father but valve leakage is a normal thing with age. There are three grades of valve leakage mild, moderate and severe valvular leakages. The modality of treatment depends on the grade of regurgitation, however diagnosis of cancer has nothing to do with leakage of valves. I would advise you to go for a 2d echo test to see the grade of regurgitation and consult a oncologist for tests to be done for diagnosis of cancer.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Rishu Saxena
