What Causes Late Symptom Like Stomach Pain And Headache After Abdominal Hysterectomy?

It has been a littleover three weeks when I got an abdominal hysterectomy not on pain meds anymore but for the last week in late afternoon I start feeling sick to my stomach which also comes with a mild headache it happens around the same time everyday. Why is this happening. I am not constapatided and I have lost ten pounds since surgery I don't have an appiatite at all I HAVE TO FORSE MYSELF TO TAKE A FEW BITES OF FOOD A DAY NOTHING TASTE GOOD AT ALL IS THIS COMMOMAND WHAT CAN I DO TO FEEL BETTER

Hi,
I understand your concern.
* The very fact that you are not eating well/ you have lost 10 pounds since surgery- when actually you should be on nutritive food/ vitamins/protein to heal / get normal after surgery. This may give you hunger pain/ hyper acidity which will increase the less appetite leading to weakness/ headache & the vicious circle goes on.( antacids , bland diet, B complex suppliments would help.)
* If the pain is in stiches area- possibility of stitch infection causing pain, head ache & mild temprature is possible.( Antibiotic course is given in such a case)
* I would advise you to consult your surgeon .He will pin point the cause after examination & investigations if needed- & give you specific treatment . Please don't worry.
