What Causes Large Spreading Blisters On Inner Thigh?
My two year old had a large blister on her inner thigh 3 days ago. Since then, the area has turned in to a large raw spot that is twice as big as the original blister, and it still seems to be "creeping" getting even bigger. Also, a second small blister is beginning to form next to it. It is in the bend of the leg, more on the thigh. I thought she got the original blister from swinging in a toddler swing. Now, I have no idea what it could be. It is painful for her. It is now about the size of a half dollar...a little larger.

It could be staph/streptococcal infection.
Needs to be given local antibacterial application along with some oral antibiotic of cephalosporin group.
