What Causes Large Blisters On The Hand?

My husband has random, large, blisters appearing on the backs of his hands. Some of them are blood filled and others filled with clear fluid. They are fairly large, some almost dime sized. He currently has two of each type on his right hand with others healing now taking on a bruised appearance. What would cause this?

Hi

The kind of skin blisters your partner is developing could be suggestive of a skin blistering disease .
He needs to be evaluated further to look for the exact cause .
Sometimes such lesions over the dorsum of hand could be related to a sun exposure related skin disease or it could also be due to a genetic or autoimmune skin disease ,
He should see a dermatologist and a skin biopsy also might be necessary to reach a diagnosis .
