What Causes Knot And Bruised Lump On The Bottom Of Foot?

I felt a knot in my foot while walking in new shoes (Orthaheel) and now notice a bb sized bruised lump that burns on the bottom if my foot near the top part of my arch. It feels like it's a vein knotting up kind of like a Charlie horse. This has happened once before on my thumb when I lightly bumped it. The bump didn't hurt, but I immediately got a knot in the vein and it burns/stings real bad. What could this be?

this may be a clot formed due to trauma. The clot will reduce in due course. But if you still have pain/ stings, just show a physician as this may help in faster relief.
