Hi.I ve been experiencing very mild burning/itching sensation only at the very end of my urination. Also, the very end of it sometimes varies between slight to moderate pain. Urine culture test was negative. I have been on Cipro 500 for 5 days now and there is no improvement.

Hello dear
Understand your concern.
I think it is due to the urethritis or stone in urethra/ureter or contact dermatitis.
Repeat the urine test after completion of treatment.

Consult the urologist and get the following tests done:
Urine: routine, microscopy and culture
Abdominal USG
Blood: CBC. ESR, Urea, Creatinine
Advice is below:
Drink plenty of fluids
Eat fruits like papaya, orange, pineapple
Start regular exercise
Do not delay in empty the bladder
Wear loose pure cotton under garments
Complete your antibiotics course
Tablet cetrizine
Use liquid base lotion that contain minerals and vitamins
Wash vagina with warm salted water
Avoid sex till you get better

Hope this may help you
Best regards
Dr. Sagar
