What Causes Itchy Red Rashes On The Pubic Area?
I have fungel infection on my pubic area, thigh etc.look like red patches or ring like shape.if i take terbinafine 250 orally and lobate-gm ointment locally it will disappear but when I discontinue the medication it appears again .what to do sir please help.

Fungal treatment with oral and topical anti-mycotics always yield good results.Recurrence of symptoms after discontinuing treatment may suggest you need to take for a longer duration or may suggest treatment resistance in extreme cases.
I will suggest you continue with terbinafine for 6 to 12 weeks.You may associate it with lobate gm cream initially and continue with terbinafine even after lesions disappear.If symptoms persist, you see a Dermatologist for evaluation.
