What Causes Itchy Rash On Inner Thighs And Buttocks?

I have a itchy rash on my inner thighs and in between my butt cheeks and on my butt. The more I scratch the more it itches. When I shower in hot water it really itches and burns. I have had this rash for about 4 days now. Tonight I have a major headache and sore throat. Could this be associated with the rash I have and what could this rash be?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
A itchy rash on buttock could be due to fungal infection.
A clinical assessment and skin scraping for fungal stains is required to diagnose the fungal infection.
In case the rash turns out to be due to fungal infection appropriate anti-fungals are required to treat the fungal infection.
Headache and sore throat may not be associated with the rash on the thighs.
Sore throat can be due to throat infection and requires antibiotic course to treat the infection.
Associated headache may be associated with the throat infection.
You can take pain killers for the same.
I suggest you to consult your primary healthcare provider for both skin rash and sore throat.
