What Causes Itchy Painful Red Bumps Along With Butt Crack On Lower Back?
My grandson came home from his dads today with red bumps along his butt crack and on his lower back. My daughter put him into the bath immediately and used hydrocortisone cream and gave him Benadryl. They just look like raised pink/red bumps, no dots or anything on them. They seem to be mildly itchy and painful, what could they be?
I can understand your concern for the itchy painful red bumps along with butt crack on lower back in your grand son. There can be multiple possibilities of the problem and without pictures it is practically not possible to guide you for exact cause or diagnosis.
I can make a possibility of allergic dermatitis due to sweating or clothes or friction. The only precaution you must follow is not to touch, pinch pop or squeeze any of them other wise it can get infected and can cause complications.
