What Causes Itchy Ears With Clear Discharge That Dries And Gets Crusty?

Hi, My ear is very itchy inside. Not down deep, but just inside. hearing is muffled. Qtip comes out black, then yellow. Went to ENT who said I have a fungus that diabetics get. I am not a diabetic, that I am aware. My mother is. She has never gotten this. He gave me essentially vinegar drops to kill the fungus. Since then, my ear has begun to weep. It is clear, no odor. I can actually feel the fluid enter my ear but have also not felt it and the fluid has run down to my earlobe where it then dries and gets crusty. When I blow my nose, my ear sounds like a horn.

It looks like a middle ear infection. If I was your treating physician I would like to prescribe you Ciprofloxacin Ear Drops 4 drops 3 times a day. Plus Tablet Ibuprofen600mg 3 times a day, Plus Claritin by mouth twice daily, and ofcourse I would like a follow up after 2 weeks.
