General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hai Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely due to yeast infection. A swab test will be helpful to rule out this. For such condition I would suggest using creams of anti fungal agents like clotrimazole for local application. Clotrimazole cream is available as over the counter in brands like monistat. Avoid using soaps and irritants to wash the genital area and instead you can use warm water or saline. Using intimate wash regularly will be helpful to normalize vaginal PH and bacterial flora which helps to prevent getting such infections. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
