What Causes Itching On Penis While On Cipro?

Yes I think I might have an infection possibly kidney but I went to the er and they ran blood and urine samples on me and found nothing but they still have me Cipro for an infection I just ejaculated and now I'm having an itching feeling I'm a Virgin so I don't think it deals with sexuall activities it's not unbearable but very annoying and uncomfortable I can't sleep with it it's keeping me up should I be worried?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it is possible that itching feeling over the penis is due to fungal infection secondary to antibiotic intake that can cause itchy feeling..
It is known as Mucocutaneous thrush and can lead to itching, inflammation, redness and at times cheesy white deposits and white discharge..
I would suggest you to consult your treating physician and get evaluated and in case if it is thrush he can advisee you application of topical antifungal ointments like Clotrimazole..
You can also be advised an oral course of anti fungal medications like Fluconazole..
aking probiotics like Yoghurt can be benificial..
Keep the area clean and avoid moisture accumulation..
As of now you can take Levocetrizine to relieve itching..
wash the area with warm water..
