What Causes Itching, Burning And Pain In Nipples?

I am a 62 year women and experiencing pain in my nipples it started two weeks ago I don't know what is causing this problem . It started with burn itch and pain it's coming from the nipple.
It doesn't hurt when I touch them . It hurts less with a bra on

there may be inflamatory problem which rqueres local examination for diagnosis and treatment. you have to mantain hygine of area. may be you need antibiotic analgesic and antisceptic aplication localy.
