My pet dog which has been vaccinated for rabies bit me 14 days ago on my right palm dorsal surface and it got infected within 3 days , took antibiotic and now the wound is better but I had itching sensation 2 days ago and there is small reddish eruptions around the wound since then. The itching has reduced now. I took a shot of TT on the day of injury. What might be the cause of itching? ? I have been bitten by my pet dog before also but this time the wound is bit big and I had taken full course of rabies vaccine 3 years back. Now this time I didn t take any. Should I be worried about acquiring rabies??? Please help.
