What Causes Itching And Swelling Around Left Ankle?

I started to have itchiness around my left ankle bone yesterday morning. Kept scratching and got more itchy. Today it is swollen and still itch. Did not sprain or hit anything. Could it be resulted from a bug bite? I started to ice the area this afternoon. Now I see a small black blue spot , size of a dime on my ankle bone area. Should I be concerned at this point? Slight tenderness upon touch. Thank you.

Not a matter of concern.
Could be bug/ insect bite. By icing the blood oozed upon scratching has clotted causing blue black spot.
Hot fomentation / pouring warm water with a pinch of natural antiseptic ( turmeric/ anhydrous alum powder) will do away inflammation n infection.
