Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I understand that you have been treated for scabies and continue to have persistent itching.
What you may be experiencing could be a post-scabitic itch.
This is itching which occurs after the treatment of scabies with a scabicidal drug. The scabicidal kills the scabies mites, the products of which irritate the skin and cause an itch. It could last for 10-15 days.
You could apply a mild steroid cream like hydrocortisone twice a day on the itchy areas and the bumps.
You could take an antihistamine like benadryl at bedtime for 10 days.
Also remember that you should wash all your beddings and clothes as the scabies mites could be harbouring in them. This could cause a re-infestatation if not completely cleared.
Your close contacts must also be treated even if they do not have itching.
If you have not done the above 2 things, i suggest that you repeat the treatment and also ensure that these 2 steps are done.
Hope this helps you.
Take care.
