What Causes Itchiness And Redness In The Vagina After Intercourse?

Me and this guy have been having sex multiple times and everything was fine. We did have sex on the 4th of July using a condom but the next morning my vagina was pinkish redish and was very itchy, I also did get some discharge, kinda whitish, like cottage cheese. I heard the discharged could be a sign of a yeast infection. But is itchiness a sign of that too? Or could I have something else. Im freaking out because it s still really itchy down there and red kinda like a burn.
