What Causes Irritation In The Vagina?

Hey, I was wondering of something. The past few days, my vagina has been a little irritated. When I tried to wash it, I saw this spongy white stuff. I inserted my finger inside and found out that there s more of it inside my vagina. I took it all out. I wanted to ask what it does. I m freaking out about it.

Irritation and thick white cheesy / spongy discharge is suggestive fungal infection. For that you can use clotrimazole vaginal tablet 100 mg (suppository) 12 hourly for 2-3 days. Vaginal tablets are inserted after taking bath with proper sanitary measures.
Steps
1. wash hands
2. remove suppository form pack
3. Hold suppository between 2 fingers
4. Remove foil rapper
5. Insert it into Suppository applicator
6. Raise one leg on stool
7. open lip of vulva
8. Push applicator into vagina as far as possible
9. Push plunger
10. Remove applicator & wash it.
