Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
It s been a few days since now since my clitoris has been irritated . I don t know if it was because the last time I was sexually active, there wasn t a condom at first and maybe the guy has std and possibly gave it to me or I always stick toilet paper with in my vaginal area so I don t ruin my panties, or that could be the reason as well. I m taking a warm bath as we speak right now to see if that will help

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, I understand your concern. The irritation of clitoris you have seems to be due to fungal infection, which can be incurred by- - Sexual transmission while having sex with an infected person. - putting a tissue paper on vagina every day, wearing a pantie on it & also a skirt/ geans on every thing-- makes the area moist & warm-- this is favorable for fungal growth. * warm bath will clean the part & give some relief. ( Hot water may increase the irritation) - Usually application of Flucanozole F ointment on the area suffices to clear the problem, if it's recent & superficial. - But recurring problem/ excessive irritation needs oral treatment of both partners . Please consult a gynecologist for specific treatment. Thanks.
