What Causes Irregularity In Periods, nausea And Swelling Of Breasts?
I had a tubal ligation back in 2003. So far everything has been fine. I had an irregular menstrual cycle last month. Took a pregnancy test and it came up negative. However I have been having pregnancy symptoms for the past two weeks. Sore and swollen breasts, I am nauseous and extremely tired. With my last two pregnancies I had fasle reading on the home tests and was only able to confirm my pregancies with a blood test. I am not sure what to do exactly. I just don't want to look stupid considering my tubes are tied.
hi in all likelihood you are not pregnant. the symptoms you are experiencing can also be due to hormone progestrone which causes water retention which can happen when you are about to start your periods. I will advise you to wait for another 1 week and in case you still don't get your periods take a serum b hcg test done which is the most accurate method to confirm pregnancy . be stress free and physical and mental stress can also cause delayed periods. all the best take care.
