I saw my flow on the 4th to 9th October. Then I spotted from the 16th to 20th October. 21st and 22nd October there were flows that ihad to use pad. I ve been spotting on and off since then. I did ultrasound scan and serum PT and they both ruled out pregnancy. I m a nursing mother of an 11months old. What could be the problem? Thank you.

Hi,
I understand your concern.
* You are nursing a baby. While breast feeding there are irregular bleeding/lac of menstruation which is due to lactational hormonal imbalance. You don't have to do anything for that if, it is not too much & hampering your health.
*You should consult a gynecologist for-
- excluding other cause of intermittent spotting like cervical polyp.
- There are progesteron only contraceptives ( permitted during breast feeding)which control irregular bleeding as well as offer contraception.
Thanks.
