What Causes Irregular Periods?

Around the 30th august to September 1st I noticed spotting. From the September 2nd until now the 8th I ve been on a very heavy flow with no sign of stopping. I m almost 49 and I might be going through menopause. Last month I missed my period. Is this something I should be worried about?

hi healthcare magic user, no need to worry, you are having perimenopausal hormonal changes leading to ammenorrhea followed by heavy bleeding.
you should take progesterone tablets to stop bleeding.
This pattern is due to hormonal imbalance.
if is persistent very heavy then consult gynaecologist.
