What Causes Irregular Periods Post Intake Of Primolut N?
Hello doctor I took primolout N last month due to my vacations and that delayed my menses to 24.now this month it is above 6 days and still i m not having my periods.i want to know does primolout effects on periods date of next month or i might be pregnant?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern... Primolut should not cause delay in periods of next cycle. Primolut contains noresthisterone a synthetic version of female sex hormone & could delay your menstruation by few days, if taken before menses. however its effect on next cycle is minimal. You might be pregnant, which may be causing delayed periods. If you had unprotected sexual intercourse since your last period, then you should go for a pregnancy test. If your pregnancy test is negative or didn't had a sexual intercourse since your last period & you still miss your menstruation, you should consult a gynaecologist for diagnosis & treatment plan of reason responsible for delayed period.
Refer to a gynaecologist
