What Causes Irregular Periods Even After Taking Primolut N?

sadaf jameel here i hv regular cycle in every month but this month i want start menses 5 days before according to my date that s why i take primolut n five days continuously (2 tablet morning & 2 tablet evening) according to my calculation after these five days, my menses should start on fourth day or five day but this thing not happen

Hello dear
Understand your concern.
Primolout N conatin synthetic progesterone.

Menstruation required co ordinate action of various hormone that secreted by ovary (estrogen and progesterone) and brain (FSH and LH).
If any above hormone is decreased or increased there is imbalance in menstruation.

Primolout N cause hormonal imbalance and that is the reason for irregular menstruation as a side effects.

Following are common side effects:
headaches, nausea, irregular bleeding,
fluid retention, dizziness,
weight gain and depressed mood,
either sleepiness or insomnia,
bloating, a decreased or increased sex drive,
discomfort of the breasts.


Wait for 1-2 days more.
Bleeding will come.
If not come, Consult to gynecologist and do hormonal profile and USG
