What Causes Irregular Periods And Clotted Bleeding For A Month?

I am 26 and have irregular periods. I have been bleeding for 4.5 weeks heavily with blood clots. Today I have a pressure feeling in my pelvic area and sharp sudden pain in my right side. Also fatigue, nausea, and lightheaded. My Dr said two weeks ago to wait it out and that I wasn't pregnant. What do I do?

I understand your concern.
One month long bleeding with clots is a condition to be cared for., to avoid anemia, weakness that follows this.
Apart from pregnancy which has been excluded by your doctor, few hormonal imbalance, ovarian dysfunction PCOD, fibroid uterus, uterine polyps, adenomyosis or IUD implantation can cause such bleeding in your age
You need to get investigated - CBC, Hormonal assays, endometrial biopsy, USG, Hysteroscopy,Pap test--as per need to pin point the diagnosis,
Consult a gynecologist to co relate your physical findings with investigation report & come to exact diagnosis.The treatment there after advised will help you.
Till the time you see your doctor, take rest, light nourishing diet, Cap. CVP gynae 2 capsules three times a day after food.
